How to Request a Transcript from Michigan Center High School

MCHS uses a program called parchment for all transcript requests.  When you submit a request the office receives a notice that you have requested a copy of your transcript be sent and where to send it and they can complete the process.  IF for some reason the entity awaiting your transcript doesn't receive it within a week or two, please reach out to the high school office to be sure the request went through.

Help using Parchment

  1. Go to https://www.parchment.com/
  2. Click: “Create Account” in the upper right corner
  3. Under Learners or Parents click: “Create Account”
  4. Complete the form
    • If you are a parent or guardian you can only attach your account to your student’s if they are under 18
    • At the bottom you can select the option to have colleges contact you
  5. Once you submit, enter the verification code sent to the email you listed in the application
  6. Once you are logged in, Click the “+” to add the current school you are attending
  7. Once you have added your current school, you can choose to waive or keep your right to view your educational files being sent. (This would include any recommendations written by school staff) 
  8. Check the box authorizing your credentials to be stored in Parchment and click Consent and Request.
  9. Click Order and select where and when you would like them sent, sign, check the authorization box and click Continue.
