Notice to Parents,

Michigan Center School District's first priority is the safety and well-being of your student. In an emergency situation the following steps will be followed:

1. Control the situation following all federal and state guidelines and laws. This includes: investigate for injuries, report to first responders, arrange alternate transportation.
2. In the case of injury family is notified directly.
3. Once these measures are met, appropriate and proper communication will be delivered to families or community, if necessary, as quickly as possible.

In today's social media world you may hear about a situation with incorrect information or at the same time as the district.  Please know that Michigan Center School District will never risk your student’s safety or violate their privacy by posting this type of information through social media.

Remember to update your contact information right away when it changes in order to be sure we can reach you in the event of an emergency.
